About this converter
Inspect EPUB metadata and chapter count and download a JSON report.
What happens to your file
For supported tools the file is read with the browser File API and held in memory on your device. It is validated, processed by the eBook tools engine in a Web Worker, and the result is handed back as a download. At no point is the file sent to a server.
What to expect from the output
The tool writes JSON. Formats differ in what they can represent, so expect simple structure to transfer reliably while detailed layout may be simplified by the target format.

Where is my file processed?
This tool is being built for local processing, so the file is handled by your own browser. Until that engine is connected the page shows an explicit notice instead of pretending the conversion succeeded.
Which files can I use as input?
Accepted formats are EPUB. The converter writes JSON.
Will scanned PDFs convert to EPUB?
PDF to EPUB extracts selectable text. Scanned pages without a text layer need OCR first and are not converted.
Are original book layouts preserved?
EPUB to PDF lays out chapter text in a simple paginated document. Complex styling, images, and embedded fonts are not reproduced.
