Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your files and your data when you use AnyFileConvertor. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

The short version
For supported tools, your file is processed in your browser and never uploaded. You do not need an account. If you contact support, the form opens your email app; nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
This policy describes the intended architecture of the platform and the data the website itself handles. Where a converter is still being implemented, the tool page states that the engine is not connected yet rather than processing your file by other means.
1. Files you convert
- Supported tools read your file directly in the browser using the standard File API and process it in memory on your device.
- Those files are not transmitted to our servers, because there is no upload step in those tools.
- Converted output is generated locally and downloaded straight from your browser's memory.
- When you reload or close the page, the file data held in memory is released. Nothing is written to our storage.
2. Tools that cannot run locally
Some formats need codecs or libraries that cannot reasonably run in a browser. If a future tool needs server-side processing, its page will say so before you select a file, describe what is sent, how long it is kept and when it is deleted. We will not quietly upload files for tools that claim to be local.
3. Information we do collect

We do not create user accounts, so there is no profile of your conversion history. We do not sell personal data.
4. Advertising
The site is funded by display advertising. Ad slots are placed around the content and never inside the conversion controls, never covering the drop area, the progress indicator or the download button. Advertising partners may set cookies or read device identifiers; where required, you will be asked for consent first and you can withdraw it at any time.
5. Your rights
- You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- You can ask us to delete data we hold about you.
- You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- You can withdraw cookie consent at any time from the cookie page.
6. Children
This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
7. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it and material changes will be highlighted on the site. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
